Germany's first TV studio completely equipped with HD technology |
The beginning of the 2009/2010 Bundesliga season marked the birth of a new TV channel. Since August 7, LIGA total!, the new Bundesliga channel, has been presenting all 612 soccer Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga games live and without commercials, as single games or in conference mode. Never has soccer been presented in such a clear image. The LIGA total! programme is headed by Constantin Sport Medien GmbH, a Constantin Medien AG subsidiary. The channel is distributed exclusively via Entertain, the IPTV offer of Deutsche Telekom, and via T-Mobile‘s MobileTV. LIGA total! presents all Bundesliga games in HD quality from a studio with complete HD technology. This is an absolute novelty on German TV. |

In total, six HD cameras are used to present the game in the studio. In addition to the best image quality available, the audience may also choose between live and time-shift views. After the end of the match, all games and their summaries can still be watched from the archive. This service is free of additional charge. »LIGA total! interaktiv« makes it possible to enjoy the decisive moments once more on your own TV. A diverse media company Constantin Medien AG uses LIGA total! to expand its position as one of the most important media companies in the German-speak-ing area.
